›› ORVCountry, Where ATV riders, Dirt Bikers, 4 Wheelers of all types come for all things off road...
The thought behind ORVCountry was intentionally a place for a small group of ATV riders and dirt bike rider's to hang out and discuss our views, plans and desire's but that shortly grew into more than just a few of us. In time our atv off road riders group began to grow in size and in the vehicles used atv's, dirt bikes, 4x4 and more. It became clear that not only where we in the group expanding beyond the original members but growing to a extent that more space was required for our ATV Off Road riding talks. So we decided to make our own spot on the web and fill it with our ATV and Dirt Bike trail riding adventures plus the things we had learned along the way. We put on for all to examine some of the Off Road Trail rides we have been on and the ATV, Dirt Bike, Buggie trail rides we would like to go on as well as the Off Road riding trips yet to come.
So ORVCountry was born. Help us in the growth and well being of our site, join our Community and grow with us. Have a ATV or Dirt Bike you like, maybe a Sand Rail or 4x4 truck well just tell us about it. Or maybe a specific off road riding trail, let us know that as well. Maybe you have a ATV, Dirt Bike, Sand Rail, 4x4 product you have used and want to tell others then by all means inform us and we will do our best to get it out in the public view for all to see. Help us make this "Your Source For All Things Off Road" and in doing so you help us but you also help all Off Road riders no matter what the ORV (Off Road Vehicle) of there choice is .
We hope you have an informative, enjoyable and pleasant stay at ORV Country, "All Things Off Road".....

›› Off - Road Vehicle As Defined From Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia
An off-road vehicle is considered to be any type of vehicle which is capable of driving on and off paved or gravel surface.[1] It is generally characterized by having large tires with deep, open treads and a flexible suspension, or even caterpillar tracks. Other vehicles that do not travel public streets or highways are generally termed off-highway vehicles, which would include tractors, forklifts, cranes, backhoes, bulldozers and Golf carts.
Off-road vehicles have an enthusiastic following because of their many uses and versatility. Several types of motor sports involve racing off-road vehicles. The three largest "4 wheel vehicle" off-road types of competitions are Rally, Desert Racing, and Rock crawling. The three largest types of All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) / Motorcycle competitions are Motocross, Enduro, and also Desert Racing like Dakar Rally and Baja 1000. The most common use of these vehicles is for sight seeing in areas distant from pavement. The use of higher clearance and higher traction vehicles enables access on trails and forest roads that have rough and low traction surfaces.
